The entire team at www.entrepreneursguild.com has been using this tool in keyword research for over 4 months now. The best part is that there is both a free version that every entrepreneur should use regularly even if the funds are not available now for purchase of the full version. They actually provide a 12 day trial period for the entire application so you can test it and use fully the software!

Now this is not a knock on either of those programs I have previously used both of them for over a year! Just thought I would drop in and post an update here! For two weeks now the Microsoft OCI component has not been working in Market Samurai due to the Microsoft OCI website being unavailable. The MS developers were right on it and aware and waited a few weeks to see if it would come back up and it did. OCI works again! YEAH. This unused piece tell you for your keyword whether someone searching your keyword is likely to buy something versus just looking! OCI stands for Online Commercial Intention. I spent two weeks worried one of my best tools ever was gone. Major celebration that the Microsoft OCI tool inside of Market Samurai is working again!

Does anyone know how Market Samurai actually gets the keyword data from Adwords Keyword tool? I would like to do something similar and be able to get lists of keywords for a given seed keyword and get the CPC and search volume data. It seems like there’s no public API for it except the one that costs money by Google. Are they deciphering the captcha image?

hey Jonathan – I am uncertain about the way Market Samurai Accesses the google and microsoft data in the keyword research section. The google captcha actually pops-up on your screen as the user…they are passing it through MS to you. Market Samurai does allow you to export all the info it gathers for you so that may be the route for you. You should use the tool for a while – it really is a good resource. You can download the free version here.

Dean Like any tool it is up to you to learn how to use it then use it — consistently! But from my experience it does work – getting ranked on a keyword with competition does take time – but this draws you a great map to make it happen. They have a nice restriction that you must own/ have bought the product to be an affiliate. i recommend people just use the free program for a while and see how they like it and if they use it! Nobody needs anymore unused marketing stuff!

Some of my associates that i have shared the tool with have also used it for themselves and coaching even bricks and mortar business owners. The tool has great widespread application. Hey Jed glad you liked the Baby Boomer Best Bet award – I do recommend it – try it out for awhile – it may be difficult to figure out all the modules in the 12 day trial, but you should be real comfortable with the keyword module in that time. I suggest you use that and the page ranking module for any keywords you focus on now, then pick one of your existing keywords and work on increasing that with the SEO module. Remember this stuff isnt overnight it takes time and consistency! Let me know if I can help
